How can you be an intern?
We have two categories of interns at Project Alert – students and graduates. Student interns are welcomed during the Easter or summer holidays, when schools have vacated.
Student internship period is usually between 2 weeks – 2 months. Graduate interns are welcomed all year round for a period of 4 months in the first instance, with possible renewal for another 4 months.
Interns are exposed to all programme areas, and are supervised by staff members. It is a period for young people to learn hands on, about the work we do, and how we do it. We can only host two – three interns at a time.
